Essex-based public relations agency, Big Wave PR and Chelmsford City Council are celebrating walking off with a Gold award at the prestigious CIPR Pride Awards (Anglia, Thames and Chiltern) on 1 October at Homerton College, Cambridge.
The organisations won the Best Consumer campaign category for their work on promoting weddings at Hylands Estate, Chelmsford, Essex, and went up against big brands such as Argos and Brabantia. The judges said that the campaign was a ‘stand out success’ and congratulated the team on its ‘highly focused and creative execution with excellent use of integrated outputs, which resulted in a top quality, well measured campaign that produced outstanding outcomes.’
Founder and Managing Director of Big Wave PR, Hilary Collins, says: “We’re thrilled to be Gold winners it is a real seal of approval. The campaign resulted in not just boosting brand awareness for Hylands Estate but also provided a real boost to their bottom line.”
Big Wave PR has been working in partnership with Chelmsford City Council for eighteen months and within that time Hylands has won best wedding venue in Essex award, cited as the one of the top venues to tie the knot in the UK by Brides magazine, received acres of press cuttings and bookings for couples to get married have risen dramatically.
