Big Wave PR Wins Hat Trick of Awards

We’ve done it again! We’re delighted to have picked up a hat trick of awards at the CIPR PRide Awards in Cambridge.

Winners five years in a row!

Award-winning Essex PR! This year we were up for awards in three categories at the CIPR PRide awards thanks to our work with the Royal British Legion. We were delighted to walk off with gold for our Consumer Relations and Not-for-Profit campaigns and a silver for best Low Budget campaign.

Over the past 12 months we were tasked with raising awareness of the ‘unsung heroes’ of WWII, those who fought in the Italian campaign at Monte Cassino and Anzio. We worked with national and regional media to get veterans to return on a journey of remembrance. We also worked with the media to boost awareness about the battle, which became a major turning point in WWII. The campaign featured on BBC One, front page of the Daily Express, regional TV news channels, BBC radio stations and local newspapers.

The winners of the CIPR PRide 2019 Awards were announced at a gala awards event on 19 September at The Guildhall, Cambridge.
