Las Iguanas Brings Latin Vibe to Essex

By: BW-Hilary

Big Wave PR ensured Las Iguanas in Lakeside, Essex, celebrated in style by organising their re-launch party to show off their recent makeover.

Las Iguanas brings Latin vibe to Essex!

The restaurant at the boardwalk at Lakeside Shopping Centre has been transformed with a larger upstairs bar, colourful wall graphics, inspired by the team’s travels throughout south America, a plant wall, plus flashes of neon and festoon lighting. The restaurant was jam-packed with restaurant reviewers, bloggers and regional businesses all tasting Las Iguanas’ new menu. Mixologists were also on-hand to demonstrate how to make the perfect caipirinhas. Adding to the party atmosphere were colourful dancing carnival girls bringing the Latin vibe to Essex.

Party-goers enjoyed new dishes including Peruvian style Crispy Cauliflower Bites – spicy, crispy coated cauliflower with Amarillo aioli. For the main event, guests tucked into a classic North Brazilian Xinxim curry, chicken and crayfish in a creamy lime and peanut sauce served with spring onion rice, coconut farofa and sweet plantain. For those who saved room for dessert, they were treated to delicious Vegan Chocolate Coconut Tart dusted with cocoa and served with a scoop of dairy-free coconut ice cream.

Big Wave PR’s photographer also captured the party spirit in a series of engaging pictures, which were issued on social media and sent to regional press to illustrate their review pieces.
